A pretty Louis XVI style carved giltwood two seater canapé sofa on tapering fluted legs, this has an attractive creamy gold upholstery which extends around the back, with a star design and gold braiding. It has a comfortable horsehair cushion seat which is relatively low and is an elegant piece which will look lovely in any home, but will particularly suit a 19th century French interior.

Dating to circa 1900, this is made of giltwood and originates from France.

In good age related condition, this has the minor scuffs to the wood and tiny marks on the upholstery expected for a piece which has been in long use, but is generally in good order.
