We have the pleasure of being able to offer this charming English solid silver tea strainer.

The This double handed tea strainer was made either just before or just after the start of World War 2 and is in the form of a central bowl extending to two ornate art deco handles. The tea strainer carries English hallmarks for Sheffield 1939 along with makers marks for the excellent Sheffield silversmith Viners Ltd.

The tea strainer is 4 & 5/8 inches (11.7 cm) long and is in a very good condition, although the date mark is partially rubbed but legible.
