An individual and unique banded stoneware cylindrical vase by the renowned potter, Robin Welch, in perfect condition. It is quite an intricate design involving three different coloured glazes, off-white, black and beige, arranged in bands, separated in part by three ridges following the circumference of the vessel with the two lower ridges bearing a central groove. The lowermost 25% of the vessel remains unglazed. On the base is painted in black 'Robin Welch', a mark he used from 1985.
