A classic piece of English oak antique furniture which dates from the late 1920’s this monks bench features carved back panels, and magnificently carved lions to the arms. A large base section with lift up seat making an extremely useful storage area for hallways etc. This monks bench item stands upon small turned bun feet. This item is in lovely condition for its age with very little were and tear. The top has been re-polished in its lifetime when used as a table and is a very slightly a different colour to the base but this does not detract from the overall splendour of this item.
