Regency Mahogany Hall Bench Attributed to Gillows
Attributed to Gillows of Lancaster in the manner of Marsh and Tatham, this large Regency hall bench is one of the best examples of English furniture of this period. Good scale with bolster ends and turned roundels finishing on fine turned reeded tapering legs. The bench is made from wonderful quality Cuban mahogany , exceptional figure with caramel to honey colours retaining its original patina.
