An interesting early Persian (Now Iran) wall hanging.
Often referred to as a hammock cradle,
Dating to circa late 1800's - early 1900's
Vegetable dyed leather with fine hand stitched embroidery.
Displays well on it's original wooden hangers.
It is strong and sound but does show age.
These cradles are rare. Bonham's had one for sale some years ago which achieved a significant price.
