Hermès, Paris - Equestrian Horseshoe Wine Coasters
A superb pair of vintage equestrian themed wine bottle coasters made by the top notch Parisian silversmith, Ravinet d'Enfert for the iconic fashion house of Maison Hermès.
Top quality, they are made from a silver plated base, beautifully decorated with a guilloche design and each topped with a gilded horseshoe mount.
Both are signed on the underside for the maker and designer, dating to c.1950/1960.
Each measuring 5" in diameter x 1" and remain in excellent vintage condition with minor wear commensurate with age and use. The silver and gold plating is all original and untouched. Highly sought-after and collectable.
Since 1837, Hermès has remained faithful to its artisanal model and its humanist values. The freedom to create, the constant quest for beautiful materials, and the transmission of exceptional know-how – which enable the creation of useful, and elegant objects which stand the test of time – forge the uniqueness of Hermès.
Family-run, independent and socially responsible, the company is committed to maintaining the majority of its production in France, through its 54 production sites, while developing its international distribution network of 300 stores in 45 countries.
