Art Deco Silver Plated Cocktail Tray c.1930
A very smart and elegant Art Deco cocktail tray made from silver plate and dating to the 1930's.
The four sides of the tray are decorated with a raised Art Deco motif. The underside is fully marked for The Alexander Clark Manufacturing Co. and "Welbeck Plate".
The company specialised in the production of silver, "Welbeck Silver Plate" and electroplate, cutlery, fitted dressing cases and bags, high-class leather goods.
WELBECK was the trade mark used on silverplate production.
Having just returned from our silversmith where it has been professionally cleaned and polished, it remains in superb condition and ready to use.
12 1/2" x 9" x 1/2" thick. Cocktail shaker NOT included.
