A Joseph Lorenzl figurine of a dancer.
An original Art Deco figure made in Austria by Goldscheider. It is a model of a young lady wearing a green floral dress and was designed by Josef Lorenzl in the 1920's / 1930's. It is 30 centimeters tall and displays beautifully.
In its past it has come detached from its base and been professionally re-attached. The repair is by the old method of metal staples. The figure itself has not been broken. I have photographed the feet showing the staples and the photograph of the underneath shows the staple ends. It is a very firm and stable repair.
