A quality Georgian period stick barometer by J Colombo of London. A mahogany case of elegant proportions with chequered banded inlays. The original cistern cover. An architectural pediment with the original central brass finial. Well engraved silvered dial with scale from 27 to 31 inches with a slide adjuster. The original thermometer to the left of the dial. Engraved to the dial 'J Colombo & Co 180 High Holb.(Holborn) London'. Circa 1810.
