Handsome mid 19th.c. walnut pedestal desk c.1870. Thumb molded top with brown leather skiver over three drawers on two graduated drawer pedestals. Of superior quality with solid walnut sides and drawer fronts and oak drawer linings. With an unusual secret compartment behind the centre drawer. Very good unrestored condition, lovely mellow colour with original leather skiver and original brass handles.
