Victorian Black Lacquered 10" Barometer
An unusual mid 19th century Victorian black lacquered, abalone inlaid, gilded and painted barometer.
The top of the barometer has a painted scene of Shakespeare's cottage and the bottom has a scene of Melrose Abbey.
The barometer has a silverised dial that has black letters and numbers, a black barometric pressure hand and a brass register hand.
The barometer has a thermometer above the dial and has various gilt and painted decoration around the case.
The barometer is in good condition and in full working order. (Circa 1850)
