Art Deco era terracotta bust of a mother and child by the Italian sculptor Ugo Cipriani (1887-1960) c.1930. Beautifully modelled as a proud looking mother with her adoring child in terracotta with a grey glaze to resemble stone. Clearly signed on the front right corner and stamped Terre Cuite D’Art on the rear. Small chip to the rear of the base, otherwise excellent condition.
