Stunning Small Welsh Oak Deuddarn c1780
A superb late 18th Century Welsh Oak Deuddarn of rare and desirable small size. Featuring beautiful fielded panels and extremely well figured grain. A country made piece of lovely quality with characterful timber throughout. From the picturesque village of Ysbyty Ystwyth in the foot hills of the Cambrian Mountains.
Wonderfully proportioned and very pretty with plentiful storage and looks to rival the very best of Welsh dressers, not only is this a superbly practical piece it is a statement stand alone item in itself.
In superb original condition with historically replaced shelves inside, this early piece has been very well looked after throughout its life and it has rich wonderful warm glow as a result.
The depth of colour and patina is outstanding. An stunning piece in every way.
