A nice original and clean silver 0.800 Zenith open-face pocket watch made in Switzerland in 1928.
Dial: The white enamel dial has black Arabic numerals with outer minute divisions and outer red 13-24 hour numbers with golden Louis XV hands and a subsidiary seconds dial at the six.
Movement: The gilt frosted high-grade anchor movement has 15 jewels and is in working condition, however we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch. The movement is signed: “Zenith” and numbered: 1013501.
Case: The watch lies in a silver 0.800 open-face case with an excellent engine-turned finish with a monogram free cartouche. The inner side of the case is stamped for silver 0.800 and signed: “Zenith” with its logo and numbered: 2313515 4735. The cuvette shows several medals and is decoratively signed: “GRAND PRIX PARIS 1900, MEDAILLE D’OR GENEVE 1896, ANCRE, LEVEES VISIBLES, DOUBLE PLATEAU, 15 RUBIS, BALANCIER COMPENSE, SPIRAL BREGUET”.
