Rare Elizabethan Carved Oak Box Stool Coffer c1600.

Delightful early English piece of diminutive proportion with superb colour, form and carving to the front panel.

Original iron hinges and interior till, standing on buttresses feet. The remains of iron hasp to underside of the lid, the lock plate an early replacement.

English circa 1600.
