Handsome 19th.c. pedestal sideboard by the celebrated English makers Lamb of Manchester c.1870. A striking design in fabulously figured pollard oak veneers with ebonised mouldings. 7’6″ long top over two cupboards with massive carved bosses to the door fronts, either side of a central drawer and display shelf. Retaining the original fitted oak slides and bottle drawer to the cupboards and clearly stamped for Lamb, together with the serial number 27491 on the top of the left hand door. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Keys supplied.
