Mid-size 1940s Junghans wrist watch
A 1940s Junghans wrist watch.
The watch has a hand-winding movement, calibre 80, which is working nicely. The movement was in production from 1936 to 1953.
This is a small watch at 26.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is plated and has a stainless steel case back with the Junghans logo. The case has minor marking, and light surface scratches to the back.
The lens is in good condition.
The signed black dial has its original hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers. There is some freckling across the dial.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box. ALL PRICES INCLUDE UK POSTAGE.

All of our watches are checked over before listing, and are also checked for accuracy which is usually within around +/- two to three minutes over 24 hours (unless otherwise stated), which is considered respectable for a vintage watch.
