A good quality and rare antique Victorian Gothic Revival oak hanging wall shelf dating from circa 1880. This large antique wall shelf features open fret work sides, carved sides and is topped with cross shaped finials. The two oak shelves are also carved and are pegged in place. This shelf unit can be fixed to the wall by three brass fixing plates. In its original finish with good colour and patina, this large set of English antique Gothic oak wall shelves would be a statement in any setting – and would look fantastic in a converted chapel or church.
