Large antique Illinois pocket watch. 1905

The watch has a 17 jewel stem-winding movement, grade 69, which is working nicely. The movement has the serial number 1758206 which dates it back to 1905.
The watch measures 58mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is nickeland was made by the Illinois Watch Case Company. The case has a screw on front and is in nice condition with only a couple of small “dings” to the outer edge at 8 & 3.
The original deep glass lens has light surface marking although very acceptable for the original lens.
The enamel dial is signed Illinois Watch Co and is in nice condition. The watch has blued steel hands which are initially lever set. This means that the screw on bezel is opened, a small lever is pulled out and the hands adjusted accordingly.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box. ALL PRICES INCLUDE UK POSTAGE.

All of our watches are checked over before listing, and are also checked for accuracy which is usually within around +/- two to three minutes over 24 hours (unless otherwise stated), which is considered respectable for a vintage watch.
