Very nice quality mid Victorian oak double sided pedestal desk. Has been made so it looks exactly the same from both sides so can be free standing. The drawers are all in the same side with the other side all being dummy drawers.

Twin pedestals with three drawers with nice moulding around the edges and the original brass handles and locks. Moulded plinth to the base. The top section with three drawers, the larger middle one with internal writing slope. The leather on the internal slope is original, the top leather is a very good quality replacement.

The overall condition of this desk is very good with no significant repairs or damage. There is one replacement handle to the back side and a couple of very minor repairs here and there but nothing serious.

The desk retains a very nice patination and colour.
