Gold & enamel case, verge - Paris, c1800
A beautiful little French gold and enamel verge, with fine dial and beautiful enamel back.
MOVEMENT Gilt verge movement in good, clean condition and working well. Signed “Les fs. Esquivillon & De Choudens” and numbered (32705).
DIAL This wonderful little white enamel dial is in perfect condition with no repairs or damage. Beautiful silver diamond set hands, perfect except for one small diamond missing from the base of the minute hand.
CASE Multicoloured gold, with diamond set bezel and catch button. Pearl framed enamel panel on the back. The panel is set into a blue guilloche enamel and the back is further decorated with a gold floral band inset with coloured enamels.
The high dome crystal is fine. The hinges and catch are all good, and the case snaps shut nicely.

There are tiny French gold marks in the case and stem.
Esquivillon (Freres) & De Choudens are listed in Paris from about 1775 until about 1830. Free worldwide postage.
Payments by cheque, bank transfer, credit & debit cards and Paypal accepted.
