Gents Poljot Nikolai II chronograph wrist watch

Gents Poljot Nikolai II chronograph wrist watch.
The watch has the classic 23-jewel calibre 3133 hand-winding movement which is working nicely. This movement was in production from 1976 right up until 2011.
The Nikolai II series from Poljot was first introduced in 1994, following on from their Basilika range. Production continued into the early 2000s.
The watch measures 40mm diameter excluding the winding crown, buttons and lugs. The case is stainless steel and it is in beautiful condition, as are both of the lenses.
The dial is signed Полет Николай II, which translates as Poljot Nikolai II, the watch was produced as “a dedication to the memory of Nicolai II. It commemorates the gala performances and lavish life of the last Russian tsar from the Romanov dynasty”. It is in beautiful condition. The crown logo with the jewel is a handsome feature.
The chronograph is operated by press the top button to start and stop, and the bottom button to return to zero.
To initially set the date, turn the hands to 12 midnight, then wind the hands backwards to 11 and forwards again to 12… each set of turns will advance the date by one day.
The watch has had a later strap fitted although it retains the Poljot buckle.
The watch comes in its original wooden box with warranty booklet.
ALL PRICES INCLUDE UK POSTAGE (excluding Northern Ireland).
Please contact us before placing international orders so that we can advise of shipping prices and to see if customs regulations allow us to post watches to your country.

All of our watches are checked over before listing, and are also checked for accuracy which is usually within around +/- two to three minutes over 24 hours (unless otherwise stated), which is considered respectable for a vintage watch.
We are a VAT registered company and all purchases are covered by Consumer Regulations.
Credit / debit card purchases can be made over the telephone on 01386 750238 or you can proceed via the \'Buy Securely\' button on each listing page.
We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
