Gents 1960s Cyma Navystar automatic wrist watch
A gents 1960s Cyma Navystar automatic wrist watch.
The watch has a 21 jewel automatic movement, R.804.00, which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Cyma name.
The watch itself measures 33.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is gold plated with a stainless steel screw-on case back. It is in nice condition, just one small indentation to the bottom right lug but you need to look quite closely to see it. The case back is signed inside and out with the Cyma name. It also has an engraving from when the watch was given as a 21st birthday present. The watch is marked as being waterproof but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water. The reference number on the case back ties up with the reference number between the lugs.
The lens is in good condition.
The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, centre seconds and a date display. There is some light marking around the perimeter.
The watch has a new leather strap.
