The images really do not do this super case justice. In person the case has the most gorgeous enamel which is very shiny and the decoration is much more detailed.
A superb vintage Stratton enamel cigarette case. There isn't any enamel loss. The white dot near the flamingo is enamel and part of the design. The most beautiful stunning cobalt blue & high quality enamel decorations on this case - beautiful pink flamingos. The highly reflective vitreous blue enamel is like a mirror and so to show prospective customers the super condition of the enamel we have included a dull overhead shot (image two) where all light is blocked out. All clasps and hinges work perfectly. It is so typical of Stratton to feature a clever design. The cigarette clip can be moved to accommodate both lengths of cigarettes available in the 1950s - standard and king size. So this means that this case can accommodate modern cigarettes too as well as bank notes, business and credit / debit cards. The cigarette clip is signed " Stratton REG....PAT NO 851743." The inner case & back of the cigarette case are decorated eye-catching vertical stripes.
The vintage cigarette case measures 9.5 cm X 8.5 cm & weighs 92.1 grams.
This case is so well made it will never need to be cleaned.
This vintage accessory comes with an immaculate velvet pouch to protect it.
