An Audemars Freres quarter repeating chronograph pocket watch in 14K gold. An enamel dial with black Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds. Surrounding the hour markers is a chronograph track and 5 minute markers up to 60. The time is indicated by finely pierced hands. A large sized case with engine turning to the front and back, with a vacant cartouche to the front. Signed and stamped 'Audemars Freres, Brass Geneve' to the front and back inners. Mechanism cover signed and numbered, showing various medals. All case parts are of solid 14K gold. An excellent quality mechanism with quarter repeating functions, unusually paired with a chronograph. Circa 1900.
