Archibald Knox Liberty Silver Enamel Pendant c1905
A wonderful Liberty & Co Art Nouveau silver and enamel pendant, dating to circa 1905, designed by Archibald Knox. Decorated with a central oval enamel surrounded by Celtic motif this substantial pendant was retailed by Liberty & Co and is impressed with the company stamp to the back, and also impressed SILVER. This is an acknowledged design by Archibald Knox and there are also variants that can be seen online with turquoise and other stones in the central setting.
Archibald Knox (1864 to 1933) was a Manx designer of Scottish descent. He is best known as being Liberty & Co primary designer at the height of their success and influence upon UK and International design. His pioneering and prolific work bridged the Arts and Crafts Movement, Art Nouveau, Celtic Revival and Modernism.
The pendant is offered in good condition, commensurate with age, measures 29mm in diameter, and 46mm high including the bale and weighs 8.9g including the 40cm (16") replacement chain. The asking price includes insured special delivery postage in UK and a custom Levels Antiques box. Overseas postage is likely GBP95 to USA, much of which is the shipping insurance. You should receive the goods 10 - 14 days after ordering, more time is required for delivery to the Far North and Scotland. The furniture is sent with small independent and friendly couriers, who take very good care of the furniture whilst in transit. Delivery is to the door, but with request the driver will normally assist into a secure place, house, garage, outhouses, etc.
Levels Antiques do not accept responsibility for any damage caused on the customer's premises when the delivery is being made.
Drivers mobile number available for liaising on day of delivery. Only one delivery attempt will be made with arrangements for the drop off being made in advance.

You have the right to cancel your order within 48 hours.
Once item/s are delivered you have 14 days to cancel the order. Return of your purchase(s) must be within 14 days of this cancellation date.
The cost of the item/s and any delivery charge paid by the buyer will be refunded, whilst the cost of returning the item/s is at the buyers’ own expense.
