Antique 8-day goliath pocket watch, Finnigan

Antique 8-day goliath pocket watch, Finnigan, Manchester.
The watch has a Swiss 8-day stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 69mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is nickel and it is in lovely condition.
The acrylic lens is in lovely condition.
The dial is signed with the name of the original retailer, Finnigan, Manchester. It is in beautiful condition with original pin-set blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute track.
The House of Finnigans was a British luxury luggage and trunk maker established in 1830, originally in Manchester and later in New Bond Street in London. The House of Finnigans manufactured and produced a wide range of luxury products, including trunks, bags, fashion, jewellery, timepieces, and silverware. Finnigans was founded by Brian Finnigan, an Irishman descended from Brian Boru, the king of Ireland in the high Middle Ages.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
ALL PRICES INCLUDE UK POSTAGE (excluding Northern Ireland).
Please contact us before placing international orders so that we can advise of shipping prices and to see if customs regulations allow us to post watches to your country.
