A gents 1950s Junghans wrist watch.
A gents 1950s Junghans wrist watch.
The watch has a hand-winding movement, calibre 93S1, which is working well. The movement is signed with the Junghans star logo.
The watch measures 32.7mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case has light surface marks from use but overall it is in nice condition for a 1950s piece. The case back has the Junghans logo again and it also states that the watch is shockproof and waterproof although with any vintage watch I would not rely on it being waterproof.
The lens is in nice condition with only the odd minor mark.
The dial is signed Junghans, 17 jewels, Made in Germany it is in super order with original dauphine shaped hands.
A new brown leather strap has been fitted.
