19th Century Walnut Breakfront Bookcase
Super quality and wonderful consistent colour to this 19th century English figured walnut breakfront bookcase credenza with original glass doors and brass mounts, circa 1870.
For a substantial piece of furniture, this has a feeling of elegance due to the breakfront depth, keeping it shallow but offers great storage if you are wanting a bookcase, drinks cabinet or display cabinet.
This would work very well with a pair of lamps, a mirror to the centre or piece of artwork.
The shelves are fixed in place and also have their original faded brushed velvet linings.
The original locks and keys also working well.
Super piece of furniture and in good solid condition.
Measuring:
Height 43.5" / 110cm
Width 72" / 183cm
Depth 17" / 43cm Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
