A complete Chinese export tea caddy from the 19th century in very good condition.
The outside of the caddy is decorated with chinoiserie scenes and the caddy stands on carved gilded wooden paw feet. The inside of the caddy houses the original decorated pewter tea canisters with matching inner and outer covers.

Condition: slight rubbing in places to the decoration, one inner lid is missing a button handle and the canisters have a couple of small slight age related splits. Pareglio & Ayres Antiques Interiors, located in Canterbury, Kent, UK and with a base in Italy just under an hour from Milan.

Return Policy for Distance Selling to Consumers
