1920s Colonel pocket watch by Nirvana Watch Co
1920s Colonel pocket watch by Nirvana Watch Company.
The watch has a fully signed good quality 17-jewel (3 adjustments) stem-winding movement which is working nicely. Screw-set jewels in gold chatons, and a Breguet hairspring for enhanced precision. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold plated Star model from the Birmingham case maker Aaron Dennison. The company manufactured and supplied various watch makers with cases. The front and sides of the case are in good condition. The back of the watch has fairly light marking and rubbing.
The glass lens is in good condition.
The dial is in lovely condition with original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
