A lovely 18th Century Dutch Brass Tobacco Box.c.1790 0r earlier.Fine detailed images to top and Base including
Engraved wordage in Dutch along bottom edge(Unable to translate!).The sides have detailed design all round all round. Hinged Lid which closes securely. There is a written message inside line which dates from 1898., probably given as a Gift at that time.Excellent overall condition.
Dimensions:-6" X 2" X 1" I am listed as a Private Dealer but some of my Stock can be viewed at The Antique Shop, 53, High Street Heathfield E.Sussex.If you wish, I am am able meet you there to discuss any items and also bring along any items which are not on Antiques Atlas but not displayed in the Shop.
