Where to start?! These are a wonderful pair of very early Victorian lustres dating from about 1840. Their cutting is superb with a sharpness rarely found. They have 12 cut glass prism lustres around their rims and unusually, they have pressed backs on 3 out of 4 of the lustres. which alternate in a pattern around each stem. They are complete with their own brass savealls – for a candle.
The central stems are sharply and intricately cut and would look good without any droplets!
Diameter 5″ across x 8″ tall.
