e was a prominent & highly regarded landscape painter & colour engraver. He studied Chester SA, Royal College of Art, & in Paris. He was a member of the Society of 25 Artists. He served with Artists Rifles 1915-19. He exhibited very extensively including at Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours, Royal Society of British Artists, Royal Hibernian Academy, Fine Art Society, Royal Society of Painters in Watercolour, Leicester Galleries, Royal Institute of Oil Painters and many others. He lived in Chester, London, and Etaples in France around 1923.
