Original William De Morgan Arts and Crafts Ceramic 5" Tile.

An excellent antique William De Morgan Arts and Crafts 5 inch tile boldly decorated with stylised vivid yellow daisies with green foliage. Made from earthenware painted in enamel colours.

Marks and impressions: 'W. de Morgan Sands End Pottery Fulham' impressed mark round a formal rose.

References: Victoria and Albert Museum Catalogue of works by William De Morgan, 191, Cat. No. 39.

Condition: Excellent overall condition, there is a small glaze miss to one corner as shown.

Size: 12.5cm square (rare 5" size).
