Mid 19th.c. Welsh oak cwpwrdd gwydr (glass cupboard) or bookcase probably produced on the isle of Anglesey c.1860. Glazed top with arch panels on a cupboard base with a single long drawer in the base. The decorative inlaid details to the cornice and drawer front, the bone escutcheons, faux columns to the base and oversized bracket feet are all vernacular features typical of mid 19th.c. Anglesey antique furniture. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied.
