Listed artist Donald Greig F.R.S.A. R.S.M.A.
Donald Greig RSMA (1916-2009) Painter and etcher the son of Scottish artist James Greig. He attended Southend Art School and during a long exhibiting career he won a Gold Medal at the Paris Salon in 1966. He lived and worked at Kingsbridge on the Devon/Cornwall border and was elected a member of the RSMA in 1967. He showed also at the RA, ROI, RWA, RI and NEAC. His paintings in public collections are to be found in National Maritime Museum Greenwich, Otter Gallery at the University of Chichester and at Scunthorpe Municipal Galleries. He was the husband of artist Rita Greig.
