Vintage Fitz & Floyd American white porcelain candlesticks in the design of a heron standing amongst foliage,c1978.Fully marked on base and in good condition,slight restoration to one of the leaves,but no parts missing..Height - 10inches/26cm.Fitz and Floyd was established in Dallas in 1960, by founders Pat Fitzpatrick and Bob Floyd. It started off as an import company, but soon progressed to the design and sale of ceramic giftware and tabletop products and accessories. By the start of the 1970s, the company had several popular hand-painted ceramic gift lines in production. Fitz and Floyd collectibles are known for their intricate, imaginative designs that vary from humorous to elegant pieces. The company's products are so popular that the city of Dallas commissioned Fitz and Floyd to make a one-of-a-kind tea service for Queen Elizabeth as a gift during her 1991 visit.
