Victorian C1860 mahogany chaise longue sofa
Antique quality Victorian C1860 mahogany chaise longue sofa. A wonderful rare quality period piece.
Solid and strong, with no loose joints. Full of age, character and charm. The sofa has recently been reupholstered in a heavyweight cotton fabric, with a natural, light cream/oatmeal colour. All of the springs and wadding have been adjusted to a good shape. Period brass and ceramic castors (some wear as one would expect).
Would look great in the right location! No woodworm.
Overall maximum dimensions: 176cmL x 91cmD x 88cmH (37cmH seat when sat on).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture.
Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 strong able-bodied person(s) for our driver to assist with carrying.
