Howard & Sons Beckett Sofa - Lenygon & Morant
A Howard & Sons Beckett sofa by Lenygon & Morant in original green H&S monogrammed ticking. Having the original sprung seat with siege de duvet back and arms. Retaining the orginal down feather cushions, offering the ultimate comfort. The whole raised on a tapering front leg with the original gilt brass lacquered castors. Stamped "Howard Chairs, 48 Audley St, London.
The iconic firm of Howard & Sons Ltd was sold to Lenygon & Morant in 1935. They continued to produce Howard & Sons upholstery until 1959 when they ceased trading.
Dimensions: Height: 77.5 cm - 30 1/2 Inches, Width: 172.5 cm - 68 Inches, Depth: 94 cm - 37 Inches.
