Swedish Silver Plated Ship's Lantern Decanter
A wonderful and fun decanter or cocktail shaker made from silver plate with the original green bottle or decanter within in the form of a Marine or Railway Signal Lantern
The underside is where the full mark can be found, I believe for the silversmith, Svedboms Guldsmeds (ES m) and also marked "Extra Prima NS" I would date this to the mid twentieth century, probably 1950's.
The top of the lantern is removed to find a cork stopper within with a silver cover and pull-ring. The glass decanter can be removed for cleaning by unscrewing the four ball feet, removing the bottom plate and the bottle removed.
Excellent condition measuring 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" x 8 1/4" tall or 10" tall to top of swing handle while upright.
