Susie Cooper Grays Coffee Duo 8564 - c1929
An exquisite Susie Cooper art deco coffee can and saucer in great vintage condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines. The paintwork is excellent, just some very fine micro crazing to the saucer and underglaze firing marks. No restoration or overpainting. Please look closely at the photos as they form part of the description.
Grays galleon mark to the saucer and liner mark to the cup with pattern number 8564 which indicates 1929, and listed as a Susie Cooper design in the pattern books. It was often the case that the backstamps were different as they were taken by the decorators from blank stockpiles.
