A most unusual and stunning 19th century Brooch/Pendant set with Marcasites and Foil backed Cabachons of Ruby Glass.The central oval Cabachon is mounted with Floral set Marcasites and the three pear shaped Cabachons which are hung separately, are also mounted with Foil Back Ruby Glass Cabachons.It tests as being mounted in White Metal ( not Silver),and all Stones are Backed.The Pear Shaped Drops can be removed.The Hinged Pin is strong and secure. Difficult to Date precisely but feel sure it is at least c.1900.Dimensions are:-7cms Long (max) x 4.7cms Wide ( Max. I am listed as a Private Dealer but some of my Stock can be viewed at The Antique Shop, 53, High Street Heathfield E.Sussex.If you wish, I am am able meet you there to discuss any items and also bring along any items which are not on Antiques Atlas but not displayed in the Shop.
