Probably one of the most decorative I have had in some time, this large Magnifying glass has the most superb sterling silver handle.

The front of the handle is inset with a glossy piece of Tortoiseshell with a very pretty pique inlay. All of this is surrounded with a raised border.

The handle is joined to magnifier with a sterling ferrule, which is where the English hallmark can be found for Sheffield 1921. The nickel framed glass is of course new, unmarked but probably by Hilkinson, creating a glass in superb condition, very usable with a good magnification.

Excellent condition, measuring 8" long with a glass diameter measuring 3 1/2".
