Stainless Steel Rolco Wristwatch, circa 1935
A circa 1935 Rolco wristwatch. An elegant stainless steel case with lovely design to the case lugs. A silvered dial with Arabic numerals and subsidiary seconds with luminous hands. A 15 jewel Rolex mechanism. A high quality Hirsch ribbed watch strap.
Rolco were one of the Rolex brands from the 1920's. The case back is marked 'RWC Ltd' (Rolex Watch Company) and marked 'SAR' as often found on Rolex watches of this period. Rolco watches are seldom seen making this an interesting are fairly rare example.
