Solid Slice of Burr Chestnut Coffee Table

This is a magnificent piece, a Solid Burr Chestnut Coffee Table, a slice cut from one piece of the Tree, the beautiful figuring of the wood here is caused by the constant removal of the tree’s branches whilst it was still growing
The legs are made from twisted wood which formed by allowing vines to grow around the wood while it is growing causing the twisted look and giving the wood great density and so strength

The table has a rustic look and is smooth with a superb patina, even the outer edges are not jagged to the touch
