Signed James (Jaz) Stinton.

James Stinton worked at Royal Worcester from 1902 to 1951
He specialised in gamebirds on ornamental vases, plate centres and coffee sets, at first at the Grainger factory and then Royal Worcester.
He was a fine painter of pheasants, grouse and other game birds, either in flight or on the ground in their natural setting and it is his game birds which are most sought after by collectors.

Approximate dimensions: height 13.4cm, weight 70.5 grams.
In lovely condition with no cracks, chips or restoration.
