Charming, this beautiful SILVER Art Deco Butterfly Wing Brooch is in superb vintage condition, unusually shaped in a triangular form - measuring c. 1" inch across the picture depicting a beautiful young lady in a morpho blue crinoline dress in a fabulous hat is set beneath a a slightly convex cover, these gorgeous pieces are often attributed to Thomas Mott - it is marked Sterling Silver with a patent number 220213 (1922)- made in England - a period c catch and long pin is present to the rear - The supersized pictures show natural wing flaws as opposed to damage - A lovely example that will not disappoint!.
