Set of 8 Edwardian walnut dining chairs
This set of 8 Edwardian walnut dining chairs made in the early part of the 20thc. comprise 2 armchairs and 6 side chairs. The armchairs with the desirable shepherd crook arms.
The chairs are made in the Queen Anne-George I style with the shell carved cabriole legs.
The chairs have drop in seats that fit in the shaped chair frame.
The central walnut shaped splat, with burr walnut facings that give the decorative style these chairs have.
These dining chairs would have been retailed in a premier retail outlet like Harrods.
The chairmaker intentionally stressed these when they were first crafted giving them a superb period feel.
